We’re interested to meet you if you are creative and innovative, with a background in graphic design, motion graphics, digital marketing, and communications. You will be responsible for the ideation and production of high-quality digital marketing content and other marketing materials using photography, basic video editing, copywriting, and graphic design skills.

Your proven excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing ensures accuracy of communications.

You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy a dynamic work environment. You have excellent research skills, excellent communication abilities, strong listening skills, strong written communications, possess strong computer skills and can learn new digital platforms, software, and programs as technology advances.

Our best candidate is required to gain an understanding of SEO best practices. You are a critical thinker and can build and maintain professional relationships.

You must have the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

This role is responsible for design, writing, proofreading, editing, and updating for company and client websites, blogs, emails, marketing materials, advertising campaigns, video production and social platforms.

Tasks may include:

• Design, produce, and publish interactive online content, which may include email templates, social media, and promotional artwork, and website content.
• Prepare briefs and present design ideas to all the relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting best practises, accessibility, and usability standards.
• Ensure brand consistency in designs and content across multiple platforms.
• Provide reliable turnaround within deadlines promptly and directly flagging issues as they arise
• Must be very organized with great attention to detail
• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
• Create concise, eye-catching, and creative social posts that engage the audience on various social platforms.
• Use social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.

 

You bring the following skills and experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience
• Relevant post-secondary education
• Research & organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Critical thinking
• Excellent understanding of media, marketing, social networking and business communications
• Corporate social media management experience
•  

* Highly proficient using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

* Highly proficient in production skills such as pre-press, digital output.

* Highly proficient in social media communications
