Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
Perform regular audits of financial data, identifying and addressing any discrepancies
Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience as an accountant or similar role
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and CRA tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
CPA certification preferred
Bilingualism is an asset, however, not mandatory.

Salary: $60,000.00-$105,000.00 per year plus performance bonus depending on qualification and experience.
